Welcome TCR #11!

The incredible journey for workers' rights for Local TCR #11 became official in May of 2013 after an eight month campaign to organize, vote, and negotiate a contract for over 50 members.

This was made possible by the support and mentoring from Painters & Allied Trades International Union District Council 4's  (DC4) Bob Casella, Director of Organizing; Mark Stevens, Business Manager; Dan Jackson, Regional Business Representative;  Labor Attorney's  Richard Furlong and Joseph Guzza; the Tompkins County Workers' Center, Pete Myers; and the support of the many other area Union groups, friends and family.

During the annual 2013 Labor Day Picnic hosted by Mid State Central Labor Council - AFL-CIO, the Negotiating Team was presented with the annual Mother Jones award through the Tompkins County Workers' Center.

Our Local Union meetings are every other month 5:30 - 7:30 PM located at
622 West State Street in Ithaca, New York.

March agenda topics needing discussion and voting will be a memorandum support letter to the New York Healthy Workplace Legislation and our Union's annual conference that will be held in Florida in August.
